Dong Qian Lake
The largest freshwater lake in Zhejiang province and one of the most scenic areas in the region, overlooked by the tea plantations of Mount Fuquan – famous for its Fuquan White and East Sea Dragon Tongue teas – and rich with ancient Buddhist temples and caves, stone carvings of the southern Song dynasty (1127-1279), and working fishing villages.

Old Bund
The Bund is the oldest of its kind in China, it is a showcase of British and Dutch architecture in the buildings that were once part of the international settlement, itis a key attraction in the sea port town and is a real insight into the city's identity and evolution.  Originally a bustling harbour during the Tang and Song dynasties it gradually evolved over the years to become a port where international settlements were nestled.

Tianyi Pavilion
Considered as one of the three oldest libraries in the world, Tianyi pavilion has a history of more than 400 years, it was a private library in Ming Dynasty.

Putuo Mountain
One of the larger islands belonging to the Zhoushan Archipelago, a group of in all some 1400 islands located at the mouth of Hangzhou Bay, fantastic vistas of the surrounding seascapes from Putuo Mountain, which is one of the Four Sacred Mountains of Chinese Buddhism. It is also home to the most famous Temple of Kuanyin (the Goddess of Mercy and the patron saint) in all of China.
